Does no Premium pckg mean no sunroof??
Hello,
Looking for ordering an 09 Journey with Sports package only, I currently have the Premium pckg on my 07 g35 that's being sold, and frankly haven't used any of the features the Premium came with BESIDES the sunroof. So if I was to order a g37 WITHOUT premium does that mean NO sunroof
Thanks,

Moonroof comes with premium package, or just get the Sport package and you can add on just the moonroof for options. This is how it was with the 08's. Not sure with the '09's though.

I wouldn't be surprised if they changed that for the '09's. The moonroof/sunroof option is crazy popular, but many of the options included in the premium package aren't as popular. So if Infiniti wanted to encourage people to buy a more expensive luxury sports coupe, they'd make them have to get the premium package in order to get a moonroof. It's enough of a "deal breaker," so to speak, that people will suck it up and pay for the premium package just to get a moonroof. I know I would!!

unfortunately the answer to your question is yes. for 2009 that is the only way to get the sunroof (ie you must get the premium package). now back when i got my 2005 g35 you could get the sunroof as part of the premium package (about $2.5K) OR as a separate option (only $1k). for 2009 the standalone sunroof option has been eliminated - and NO it does not come with the sport package either.
yes i believe infiniti is using this as a way to bring in more money. i also agree with you that most of the things that come with the premium package are rather useless.

ahhh I see. Just tryin to save a buck. hee hee. Suppose they would knock a bit off the price if I dont take the 19's that come with the sport package since I have my own aftermarket 20's?
