Nov 08 Magazine - Car and Driver

Just had a chance to browse the new November magazine and it happens to have a section in it with the G37 on a track. They gave it a horrible review and stated that there was a lot of brake fade and the engine overheated. I was kind of suprised by this especially after watching motor trends video review where the driver seemed pretty excited about the car on the track and noticed no brake fade or engine overheating. I mean, I know the G is not meant to be a "star on the track", but I do think it deserves a better review than what it got this month. The civic si was achieving faster lap times!!!

Anyones thoughts?

Car and Driver is full of, well you know. I stopped reading there mag a few years ago when they picked the 335 over the G35, even though the BMW's dash lights started lighting up and the ac couldn't keep the car cool.

yeah it's amazing how much the reviews vary from mag to mag and from reviewer to reveiwer.

C&D is wholey supported by the left wing radical soon-to-be Marxist regime. What did you expect, a fair test?

They said the car had "brake fade".. i don't think thats biased?? If they said they didn't like the car thats different. I'm sure the editors know brake fade when they see it.

I didn't like the article much either.. What did it say, the Cobalt SS was faster than a IS-F? .. yeah okay.

Wasn't it the BMW that overheated in one of the reviews.

Yes, I read that one too. Seems like Car and Driver is the only magazine with anything bad to say about the G. I'll bet if the G had a BMW emblem they would love it.
