Removing Airbag Sticker on sun visor

These are designed to not come off, apparently it can be done by heating with a heat gun and pulling off the 100 pieces it will break into and then cleaning the gum with 3m adhesive remover...what a PITA.
There is however another solution... If you can't beat them.. join them. Create your own lable to go over it. S2000 owners can get a nice adhisive plaque to go over it... I couldn't find a sunvisor overlay for the G37... so you're going to need to make it. The sticker is 15cm x 8.5cm. If you have a Inkjet of Laser printer you can get sticker paper and create your own. You can get the paper in a variety of colors, even gold and silver foil. I found this Silver polyester self adhesive paper. Looks like it will match the Washi and it's even waterproof. Still researching this, you can buy 5 sheets for $10, or order less, looks like useful stuff though.

Another route is to just have the visors re-wrapped with the same material and just dont add new stickers. But I believe its in some GOV. vehicle code that the stickers need to be put on by the dealer. And if you're leasing you'll definitely want to turn the car back over with the stickers still there or it may be out of gov compliance for resale by the dealer, meaning you'll get stuck with the charges of switching them back to stickered visors.

There's an option for OTHER QUANTITY. You can get 5 sheets for $10, $14.95 with shipping. You can order less for that matter.. looks like useful stuff though Now whether to print something on it or just leave it blank, perhaps a Mt. Fugi or maybe the G37 siloette..hum. Or maybe a passenger warning.
