Yea my father went to LAX and got a front LP ticket in about 5 minutes LOL, but in Ventura county, after 3 yrs I got pulled over for a warning to put it on, But i did get an actual ticket for my front LP after he pulled me over for speeding and saw my LP on my dash and not the bumper!!

Okay guys, this is what i do.
I put the license plate in the glove compartment (with those sucktion caps on it)
And IF i get pulled over (I've never got pulled over for not having a license plate in TX for more than a YEAR)
I'll get out the license plate i put in the glove compartment and tell the officer
"oops, it fell off my window while i was driving so i didn't have chance to put it back up"
So i don't even have it on display on the window really. Just have it. And pull it out b4 officer gets to your car. Maybe pretending like ur getting ur insurance ready.
edit: well i just got the G, but i did that with my TL type S.

Ca Veh Code Div 3, Art.9. Display of Plates...
Would our view be blocked if the front license plate was mounted up to 5 feet? Maybe like a taxi sign on the roof?

L.A. baby!! Cant beat L.A.'s cops. Ive gotten 3 license plate tickets i think, this last time i was told i only need a picture of the car with the plate in there, so i photoshoped it on lmao. But i dont care, id rather have my car look good and not get a ticket in the mail for going under a red light, than having that ugly plate drilled into my bumper.

I also own an Altima 3.5. When dropping off a friend at LAX, as soon as I pulled away from the curb, the lights were flashing. The cop said," You dont have a front plate". I said, " Yeah, I know". (smart ***..) Anyway, I couldnt find the other plate and had to order new plates just to get the
ticket signed off. Then off came the front plate.
The dealers here in Orange County do not install the front plates on many Brands, and many autos (mostly higher end) do not have front plates, because they just destroy the beauty of the car. So, no front plate on the G...
Two years ago, a guy at Stillen Open House had his G35 on the rack and he didnt have a rear plate!! Thats a hard sell!!

Wow, who knew there was a tint off champion? Not me I guess. I guess I'm out of the loop. After a brief google search (and I guess I really shouldn't have been suprised) there are whole forums just for tinting.
