Angry G37 Problems!!!

My car was perfect for 10k miles. Now at 12k things are going down hill.
I went to my local shop to get my oil changed. He advised me to look at my tires. There wearing unevenly!!!!!!! He told me that it should be covered under my warranty seeing that my alignment wasn't setup properly. In my head im thinking now i have to battle it out with the dealer. So i just sucked it up i wasn't to mad. I already had to go to the dealer because my exhaust rattles and my ipod connection disconnects on its own and my windows squeaks!!!! Ok so whateva im going to BK to see my girl im on the belt and im playing my music then it just cuts off. First im like stupid ipod then i put on the radio no AUDIO!! no NAV AUDIO no nothing. i turned the car off put it back on nothing i tried everything. Now im just pissed.... i have to go to the dealer on friday!

btw i have a g37s with nav OB --i love my car but its getting on my nerve!

they'll probably replace the nav/stereo unit, and you'll have all the voice commands that were deleted from the later production models.

Exhaust rattle is typical and there is a TSB for it. Your entire radio/NAV unit will probably be replaced so no biggie there. Your window should be corrected at the dealership. Drop off your car at the dealership, get ur loaner and let ur car get a little TLC.

My friend's family owned 3 unreliable, Honda lemons, and 4+ VW that were incredibly reliable.

Personal anecdotes don't mean much if we're talking about the big picture.

I wouldn't say "never buy a first year model", but the fact of the matter is that chances are the first year or two of a new or revamped model has some time to troubleshoot or figure out certain flaws/gitches, that way they can be corrected with a slightly refreshed/revised model.

Maybe things have gotten better since I drove a first year american, but I'm not willing to put it to the test...

the mechanical problems, excluding the muffler rattle are not new to the g. the interior is not a first year design...the sedans have been running this interior for almost three years now.
