This thread is terrifying. I think I might have to start parking farther away from people. I just picked up my G about a month ago and I would be pissed beyond belief if someone rear ended me at a stop light. Sorry to hear about the car, I hope it all works out in the long run!

Sucks dude, If they dont total it, just make sure they do some kind of compensation for you cause when you return your lease, the company is not going to like it that your G37 was in a Train Wreck, they will probably penalize you like crazy. Even if its not leased, shieeet, you think they will give you the same for it when you trade it in? They will say, no vin tags on trunk and bumper and quarters been fixed, etc.....

Sorry for your Probs dude! Thats not real bad, but bad enouff! We had an 08 G35 sedan come to our body shop with Major rear end damage! Since your car is new. It will not be tottaled! even if the end of the frame rails are smashed, it will still be fixed! As the G35 that came to our shop, had to change pretty much whole rear end section, Including repalacing both side Qtr panels. Both rear framerails,(Infiniti made these to collapse)="Crumple zones", Rear Floor, rear body-(Part behind Bumper Cover),Trunk Lid, and all small parts that needed to be replaced. Now this was an 08 G35 Sedan with 5,00mi. Tottal damage was $23,000! And the car looked good as new, and drove just like it did before! So Good luck with your car. It will be back to good as new with a repitible shop!

Looks like the crash was isolated to attached parts (bumper, trunk, spoiler) and not the frame. It would be a good idea to get laser measurements of the body (and compare to a new car) to make sure there's wasn't any movement.

If you haven't already get a lawyer. Sounds like the other driver wasn't paying any attention at all. Is there a police report?

Sorry to hear about the rear ending bro, it looks pretty fixable but hey if u can total it out and get a new ride, all the power to ya!

Are you from Michigan btw? I live in metro-Detroit. Im a fan of the Wolverines too. U should holler at me sometime Im tryn to organize a meet for G37s and some 35 Coupes before it starts snowing. I got my ride from Suburban Novi but take it for service mostly at Suburban Troy.
