+1. That example is nowhere close. People that put Brabus badges on their Benz, now that's just pretending to be something you're not. Like I said, many people don't get the whole JDM scene. People rebadging G's is just like when people rebadge their 240SX to a Siliva. I love my car just as much as most of the members here, but I always just look at it as a glorified nissan. If anything, I see it as a a 350Z with backseats and leather. By rebadging, it's not like people are claiming that it's something it's not since it really is a Skyline 370GT coupe in Japan, the same exact place where the GTR-35 hails from.

That reminds me of my little story. Some Japanese execs came into my company one day. And a coworker of mines was telling everyone that there was a nice Ferrari parked outside that maybe one of those guys drove here with. So we went outside for lunch and I couldn't for the world figure out where he was parked. So there was a couple of us outside and the guy showed us. It turned out to be my OB G37. had me rolling with laughter

It technically is a Skyline since it's the model is a V36 Skyline 370GT Coupe in Japan.

here we go again with this rebadging ****... OK just put it as this.. rebadging a Infiniti G37 to a Skyline 370GT is the same as in japan with people rebadging their Skyline 370GT with Infiniti G37. Not as much as people here in the US do the "skyline" rebadge.. Lets not lie to ourselves.. People do the "Skyline" rebadge because they think it looks and sounds much cooler than a G35, G37.. After all, The Skyline GT-R is badazz.

So having the "skyline" crap on the car is just another ego boost. Me, I like my cars OEM..

No more ricing it for me. And don't give me that It's a SKYLINE in Japan.. I don't care. We're not in Japan. And lets face it, people who usually add the "skyline" badge, usually have more things done to their car that makes no sense to me. Carbon fiber trunk, black housing, led interior lights, and so on and they call it "JDM". haha. whatever.
