Insurance Question
#16
I look at it this way. If (for example)an aftermarket bumper cost 150 and OEM cost 300 and you get into an accident. Would you rather have insurance pay for the aftermarket or OEM bumper. They pay for OEM and you get 150 in your pocket for something else

well say you have a $15 k twin turbo, and someone crashes into your front somehow and destroys it, what do you do then?

Hmm...if someone else smacks into your car and it's their fault, I would think their insurance is supposed to repair the vehicle to full operation or total it. That's what you'd expect. No offense, but it gets shady sometimes. Just like Allstate avertises in NC about the accident forgiveness and bonus checks for safe driving they offer but in the fine print it says not offered in NC (and a few other states). DVRs and big screens allow you to read the fine print now!

I love to see people get excited by the dumb Allstate promo's. Free Good Hands Check up, reduced ded. (they lower a comp. ded. which is like next to nothing of your premium already.), and this rebate for having no accidents. It's funny how people are lured by these dumb promo's. A low premium is a low premium, if the coverage are identical, some dumb little freebie is not going to attract me over saving a couple hundred.
