Do you blast the A/C every time you use it? Maybe you should increase the temp a bit.

Guilty! I do keep it on recirculate as to avoid the exhaust smells from other vehicles coming in the cabin. I am definitely going to heed the advice to eliminate the odor. BTW, Infiniti said my in-cabin filter was perfectly fine and didn't need to be changed and the wife doesn't have any problems with my ***** (good one Jeremy!!).

is this the smell that you get when you turn on the temp to low without ac? or when the ac is not warmed up?

mine smells like mild mildew, but it goes right away after the ac turns on, im assuming you live in a humid place, in korea in the summer the ac doesnt smell so fresh, but its really cold.

Plus the manual says not to keep in on this mode for extended periods of time because of this very reason.

If that's the case just put it to fresh air mode to flush out the stale air and you should be fine.
+1 This was posted on Driver or Fresh Alloy back when the G debuted. I have always keep mine on Auto/Fresh Air and have never had the stale or mildew smell in either of my previous G35s.

I am having this problem as well.... When I first bought the car it had a slight musky smell when using the AC but that went away after a few months. This summer the past month + everytime I fire up the car with the AC on I get a nice big blast of mildew smell but it goes away after about 10 seconds. Really strange.

My last car had this problem after like 4-5 years which I just delt with... but it sucks that im already getting the mildew smell on the G37 after only 11 months.
