Get an '09 or wait for '10 turbo?
My current car really needs to be replaced, so I was leaning towards the 2009 model year car, but I keep hearing that the 2010 model will have Twin Turbo!!! Is this just a rumor at best or will it be worth it to wait another year for it?

It's like this... if you buy an 09, it will happen... if you don't, it won't release in 10..lol Seriously, the 09 G37S is going to be a great car, and cost less then a TT to buy and own.

Seems a strong possibility as an option since the engine mounts and chassis a most likely the same with the Nissan GT-R. It would make Infiniti's line more competitive with the higher end German cars (ie M3 and Audi S5). Although the '10 may be a stretch, and think definatley the '11 model will either have a turbo or more powerful motor. People didn't think Infiniti was coming out with 7AT and they ended up implemented it to be competitive with Mercedes and BMW.

There definately is a spot for an Infiniti M3 competitor... think about it.

I think someday we'll see Infiniti make an M3 competitor, Lexus did it so you can bet Infiniti is drawing something up right now... HOWEVER either adding a TT or a big V8 will raise the price, yes basically it'll be a G37 but expect a good $10k premium like Lexus and BMW are charging for their performance lines. They add more than just a more powerful engine so you'll be paying for it. So if you can't afford an extra $10k on top of price of a G37 then no use waiting for the rumored TT in 2010. I'll bet on a V8 rather than a TT but who knows...

I believe that if you wait for a next year’s car, or in this case two years, because of possible improvements, then you will never buy another new car because there will always be improvements on newer models. So get the ’09 and enjoy it now.

Remember this is Infiniti, they'll need to under cut BMW by at least 5K, putting the car in the 50K range. A TT V6 with 7sp dual clutch, more horsepower and better gas mileage, that's pretty much what it would take.. otherwise it wouldn't sell.

i would just get the '09 model. if you wait for the '10 model, there would be something better in '11 or '12 when the car gets a make over. i doubt the '10 would get the tt, nissan doesnt want to take away buyers for the gtr.
