Illuminated kick plates worth it?

I was planning on not selecting this option on my new G (along with Tech package and four wheel steering). Is there any reason I should consider this option? Does it look really cool or kinda showy/ricey (like a car at hot import nights and fast and the furious). Can someone post pics?

I didn't order mine that way, but got them for free anyway. No, they are not ricey at all, they look quite classy. I'm glad I have them.

They're nice, a bit expensive for what you get though, I've been hoping 3rd party would make a better one, offer it in colors and maybe even a graphic like the one on this Board. Programable display would be cool too.

I didn't intend on ordering them ... but with the limited cars available in AB with a 6MT, I got the kickplates + muguards + trunk net ... and by far, the kickplates are the best 'option' I have on the car.

(Would have liked the OEM spoiler but waiting for a nice aftermarket one to come out ...)

I actually like mine better than I thought I would. They really catch your eye at night, and do look classy - not ricey.

Absolutely agree -- the illuminated plates look terrific, very sophisticated look. Ironically, they have actually gotten more "comments" from passengers upon entry than I would have expected. Worth it. Don't debate it any longer.

Search next time, my friend... It really works.

Regardless, I absolutely love mine... Glad I got it.

So its just the 'Infiniti' letters that glow with LED Lights? Basically it looks the same otherwise? Still seems a bit pricey for a $400 option.

If it's not worth it to you... Don't get it. It's that easy. It is worth it to some of us.
