Absolutely not (even though I almost bit the bullet hehe)! I figured every time I'd look down at that white LED lit Infiniti logo, I'd think in my head "damn, this cost me 300 bones to look at this). Go spend that money on something more worthwhile like an intake or tint.

I also got mine thrown into the deal, didn't order them but with the dealer trade they did to get the color I wanted with the options it had the kickplates and other goodies already installed, for the same price!! I like them, don't know if I would have paid that much for them though.

I like them on the Lexus so I figure they would be nice on the G as well. Can anyone who has them tell me what covers the letters? Is it plexi or similar? I wonder how they would look if they inadvertently got the clear covering scratched a bit.

Yes they are worth having. Our G37 has them and our former GS300 had them in all four doors. We pay more to have these cars and therefore they should be different than Chevies and Fords.

If you have the funds - they are nice. My G37S came with them even though I didn't ask for them - kindof a freebie if there is such a thing buying a new car. I think they are very tastful - nice looking at night especially. Enjoy your car - I do....
