Rattling sunglass holder....

Anybody else have this issue? If I let it hang down it stops but, when closed, it rattles like mad. This is the only rattle I've gotten so far (16k miles) but its driving me mad! What will the dealer do about this?

I have heard the same for the last week or so. I was following the noise until I found that it was the sunglass holder, but in my case I have sunglasses in there, I removed the sunglasses and it seems to have stopped, or at least I haven't heard it like before.

My sunglasses are always vibrating... drives me crazy.... I can't stand rattles and my 545i has spoiled me. I am wondering where I could put cushion tape or foam to silence the compartment

ha! I almost forgot about this, mine did it too, the bass from the stereo being the culprit. I think it did it empty and with my Revo's in it. I started putting my Glasses in the soft grip hard case they came with and the weight of the case I think stopped the rattle instantly, never to be heard again.

The holder doesn't rattle, but my sunglasses sometimes do. The case should be lined with some type of cloth material.

I've found that my sunglasses have to be put in the holder a certain way to avoid the rattling.

Have always kept a thin mico-fiber piece in w/glsses, for cleaning them.
/never have had a rattle.
//fixed a problem I never had.
///Sometimes it goes like that...not often enough.

Mine doesn't rattle. My Oakleys are also covered in their pouch which might help too though.

I can't even fit my sunglasses in the sunglass holder. The way sunglass trends have gone lately, they should make the darn things bigger hahaha.
