I just bought my new G at 39. I was in school most of my life (finished my PhD at 29) and then started my career. Between paying off student loans, getting married, having a child, getting divorced, and then being a single Mom in a job I could finally really get ahead it took me some time. I truly appreciate buying a new car for the first time in my life and getting what I want. It's been a long road, but it's very satisfying to do it on my own without anyone's financial assistance or help. Score one for the Single Mom's out there who kick serious you know what.

just my 2 cents though

Edited to add: I dont want to be snobby, so I am not presuming to know your situation. If you are getting the proper coverage for $67 a month you are getting the deal of a lifetime, and I would recommend sticking with the agent for life, and know that I am very jealous of you! I just checked my policy (I have allstate with 2 house policies, an apartment policy, 3 car policies, 2 motorcycle policies, collectible insurance, and a personal umbrella policy for my wife and I) and I am paying $1428 a year for the G. My credit is fine and I've been with them since May of 1997. No tickets, no points, I am married and 29 years old. I do have pretty high limits on the liability though, so that drives it up a little.

335 is my dads daily driver but I drive it a lot, great car. I like my G better though because it's stick. I guess I technically got the G at 15, had to get it early to learn how to drive stick lol.

18. I'd been driving a Honda Element around to help my dad's band move equipment. After doing sound check one night for a show, I came home in my dad's car and BAM! the Element was gone out of the garage and there sat my Ivory Pearl G with my mom behind the wheel haha. I was literally stunned, I didn't talk for a good hour or so and actually showed up late to the gig (too afraid to drive the G fast). We really got the hook up, family discount from Nissan and good student/good driver discounts from USAA. A year later I'm just now starting to mod it and I'm still in love

Dang, after reading the first 20th thread, it makes me sick to see so many young guys handed a $40+ car just like that. Man.....I guess I wasn't raised in a rich neighborhood, it wasn't a poor neighborhood either.
I'm not used to see young guys (kids) with a M3's, E3 benz and so forth. but it's cool that you guys have this awsome car, just as long as you are grateful for it and take care of it as well, more power to you.
