^yep, I'm pretty sure that's the only reason I got this car so cheap. I think the 09's come out in september sometime they said. Not much changes from what I could find, also, the dealer said he got a memo that infiniti would be putting 500 dealer cash on the table for remaining 08's next month. He is hoping to get that dealer cash for my deal to recoup some of the loss. My family has bought 6 cars from this autogroup, the owner is a good friend of my grandpa's (35+ years) so he was shootin' me straight. I got invoice off the bat then went from there. The other dealer would do invoice but wouldn't touch this deal...

Lets say you drive 15,000 miles a year. At an average of 20 miles per gallon, you'd buy 750 gallons a year. Price that at $4.20 a gallon and you get $3150 a year or $262.50 a month. Lets say you are looking to get a car that gets 30 mpg on average. Same miles driven a year and you're spending $2100 a year or $175 a month. Simple elementary school math. When it's spelled out like that, it's easy to see, for every thousand dollars you lose out on, it would take you a full year to break even. That's why it makes even less sense for people who have an almost paid off car to buy lets say a Prius just to "save money on gas." For every thousand dollars they paid for the Prius that was over the value of their current car, it takes them a year to recoup.
