Solid tone rather than 4 beeps

Anybody know this...? Normally when you turn off the ignition and get out of the car you get a repeating 4 beeps before you close the door. I'm now getting a solid, uninterrupted tone. I must have accidently changed a setting or something...I've checked the headlights setting, windows (closed), sunroof (closed)--I haven't found anything in the owners manual yet. Suggestions?

If you can consistently duplicate this solid tone, take it to the dealership, get a loaner and let them fix it.

I know I get the 4 beeps when I open the door PRIOR to turning off the car. If you turn off then open you shouldn't hear the 4 beeps. Now, the solid, uninterrupted tone i know nothing of...

Maybe your car is like a nagging gf. She got tired of beeping so she changed her tone to get you to do what she wants!!

If your doors are locked and you pop the trunk, put your key fob in it and close the trunk, it will unlatch itself automatically and give you the long tone just like you are speaking about.
