That is what i am trying to do but its hard to find one. Currently I am driving my dads 06 ml350 but he has put so many restrictions as to where I can go. So I have to drive the minivan to college and the Benz in town. Its so stupid

For some reason I'm not believing that you will be paying for your car... It's okay. Admit it. Mommy and Daddy are buying. It's okay. Have the young'ns out here are having mommy and daddy buy their car.

^ no seriously, I am buying it on my own. They paid my first car but I am doing this on my own. I would take a G hands down w/o arguing but here it should be my choice

Since you're dependent on your parents to help you with this - maybe you should just go along with their wishes. When you build your own credit, then do what you want. Something tells me the more you argue with them, the more they will resist. This may actually show them a maturity level that they are not expecting.

And no, I'm not saying you're immature, but try looking from your parents point of view. You are still their "little boy".

^^ true that

Baita Patel, go with their wishes and get the 5AT. Bulid up ur credit and get a Manual version later on. A G is a G, still very cool if its a 5AT.

OR, does anyone alse in ur family/relatives own a Manual car, Maybe ur parents will listen to them.

Tell them if they make you get a 5AT you'll commit suicide.

You need credit history, doesn't matter what number your score is. I'd say a good 2-3 years should be sufficient.
