Can't lock unitl passenger door is closed.

Ok, maybe I am we todd did but why won't my doors lock with the passenger door open? There's a series of short beeps when I hit the lock button on the door handle when the door is still open.

Horribly annoying because my gf takes forever to get out of the car! I could easily be a hundred feet away but I have to wait in order to lock the car ; [

Yea I don't get it... my GF does the same thing. I am already in my house and she is still working her way out of the car. I've gotten the "door open panic beeps" several times cause I try to lock the doors before her door is closed.

The worst part is even though she takes her sweet time getting out she has managed to scratch the interior handles up pretty good from her bracelets, rings, handbags, etc

Pass some gas before you get out of the car, that'll do the trick

I just tried the power lock button on the inside and it seems to work OK. Maybe this won't be so bad after all.

Flipping the mechanical switch on the inside locks the door until you close it then it unlocks it again. It also didn't lock the passanger side.
