Trunk won't close !!

So i was just loading some light stuff into the trunk and tried to close and it would lock-in for a second and pop right back up!! tried this about 10x times.

I triple-checked to see if anything was in the way but there wasn't...
After some fiddling and locking/unlocking the car - it worked..

Anyone faced similar issues?

This is my first new car - so i am not sure of what to do - call infiniti or just go straight to dealer?

TIA

your key #2 will also keep the trunk open as well. Stupidly for the first week i had the car i left the 2nd key in the car and really anyone that wanted could have probably hit the open on the handle and drive off with the my second key in the car.

It happen to me once, but I paused for a second to use some basic logic that the car senses the smart key is inside and won't lock up or let the trunk close. That was a interesting test!
