yup ive seen 500rwhp+ g/z's unable to do a burnout in 1 spot with pulling the fuse. and im sure sharif has seen even more. i understand it may be confusing between spinning your tires while launching and doing an actual burnout. however, a burnout is what you cars with slicks doing in a water box at the track or a burnout competition. we have too many electronics to allow it stock sorry.

Pulling the fuse allows this to work. As per the video above. Just to clarify.

just found out how to do one today..under drive kickpanel fuse box take out fuse that says stop lamp and in the pass side of hood by batter look in the big fuse box located behind the battery under the fender and pull out fuse that says abs.. this will let you do a stand still burnout but put fuses back in after this is only for track use

Wow I didn't realize how old this thread was..........................For me I just nail the gas and I do a burn out, can do them in both cars with just turning off the VDC. I posted pictures of one I did in a parking lot one night somewhere a while back.

My 7AT burnout, no brakes necessary. Just crank the wheel and turn VDC off.

Edit: Just realized this post is 4 years old...oh well.

That's not a burnout, that's a donut. Not an issue because the car is moving.

I can easily powerbrake the 7AT, but only for a second or two. As soon as RPMS get to about 2500, the traction kicks in and kills it (even with VDC off).
