warranty void?

if i get exhausts/ecu tuning will my warranty get voided?
i have 36 months left and im clueless about what will happen if i mod the G

You're kind of here. The mods you make will only void your warranty on any parts or systems that they directly cause to fail. But the entire exhaust and ECU covers a whole lot. In a nutshell, probably yes, Infiniti would try to not cover anything under warranty on your car unless it was completely unrelated like a suspension part. Anything involving emissions or drivetrain would likely not be covered due to your modifications.

Warranty Info

BB is right, this topic has been discussed over and over on probably every automotive forum around.
However, since almost everyone here is very helpful, I would be happy to contribute to your knowledge base.

Follow the link above, it is just the first thing I found with a google search but it explains things pretty well. Especially the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, that is what you really need to know....

The ECU tune would be the concerning part where they would be ****s about it.
