This one is very minor. It only applies to cars with the Technology package.

If your wheel is turned sharply to the right with your AFS headlights on, you know your headlights will be turned to the right. However if you shift into reverse, it negates the AFS function and they will swing back straight again. Shft back into first and they swing right again. I only discovered this last night.

Help needed please!

I'm trying to get the reverse camera to work without putting my 6MT in reverse. Someone mentioned that you need to turn the Radio off, keep the Settings button pushed and turn the Radio Tune ****. I did this but no menu showed up to enable the camera.

Am I missing something please?

Thanks,
Kev

Don't think there's a way to enable reverse camera when it's not in reverse.

What you described sounds like the way to get to the diagnostic menu.

correct. and when you go into the diag screen you can go to adjust camera. which will leave the camera on all the time while your driving. not in just reverse. down side is nothing else works while the camera is on. no nav, no cd, radio phone nothing.

Is there a way to have your car automatically lock the doors when you start driving? My jetta would do that when you started driving over 5 miles an hour or something like that.

The only way to enable speed conrolled door locks is to purchase three modules from www.KPtechnologies.com (Door Lock module, relay pack, Programmable Speed Switch).

RTFM - Not sure what the others are saying here since it's a feature of the car:

AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCKS
All doors will be locked automatically when the vehicle speed reaches 15 MPH (24 km/h).

All the doors will unlock automatically when the ignition is placed in the OFF position.

The automatic lock and unlock functions can be deactivated or activated independently of each other.

To deactivate or activate the automatic door lock or unlock system, perform the following
procedure:

1. Close all doors.

2. Place the ignition switch in the ON position.

3. Do one of the following within 20 seconds of performing step 2:
To change AUTO UNLOCK settings: push and hold the power door lock switch to the UNLOCK position for more than 5 seconds.

To change AUTO LOCK settings: push and hold the power door lock switch to the LOCK position for more than 5 seconds.

4. When activated, the hazard indicator will flash twice. When deactivated, the hazard indicator will flash once.

5. The ignition must be placed in the OFF and ON position again between each setting
change.

Well, if nothing else, it's nice to see Nissan finally added this feature after 7 years without it.

I always thought it was weird the G35 couldn't do this considering my 1994 Chevy Cavalier did it with no problems at all!

Any plan to add an auto unlock feature? I have the window roll up module and have the auto lock feature enabled, it works great (once I worked the bugs out of my bad installation ) but I wish that it could auto unlock when the parking brake is activated.
