The zine still lives, but being on the otherside of the coin now, it's funny to see how blindly loyal some people are to Audi, I liked my car but it was a maintenance nightmare, it was in almost exactly once a month for warranty breakdowns. No major coin out of my pocket other than headaches and time wasted, but still when i post on there the dumb little guys chime in, "well if you went GTX setup up a massive intercooler, and blah blah you'll beat a G37. Or better yet, well wait until theres bad weather and see who wins."

It took me a while to figure out that two quick taps on the start button will turn the engine off and leave the accessories (stereo) on...

No, the car must be in park or the hand brake up. All you have to do to set it is put the seat and mirrors in the position you want and then hold down one of the buttons (I think). It starts to flash, I believe, when it is set. I am at work so I cannot look in the manual. It is in there though.

I found out recently that with the handsfree, after the first prompt when they ask you to say a phone book name, etc. You can say the full message, example, when i want to call my girlfriend on her cell, i hit the voice command, and say call - kerameh - mobile, all in one shot, then it just asks me to confirm, and it connects, this is instead of before, i used to say, "Call," wait till the next prompt, "kerameh," next prompt, "mobile," "Is this correct?", i say "yes." So that may help some.

Interesting features of the G37

I ran into a few interesting features of the G37 by accident.

1. The trunk will not latch of your key is inside the trunk. After trying to shut my trunk several times I discovered I had dropped my key inside the trunk. If it was not for that feature I would have had to walk home in 100 degree heat.
2. The G37 automatically disengages the air conditioning compressor at full throttle. While deriving around with the A/C on full blast I realized that at WOT the air temperature would rise and become very humid. I did a little reading and found out that many cars share this feature.

Interesting stuff. Care to post it in the thread titled "Easter eggs"? It's about just these type of things.

does it matter? wont you be able to push the door button and unlock the car, then push the trunk button inside the car? or, why wouldn't just press the trunk button if you close the trunk with the key in there?
