hitting 8000 miles and having problems with my g37!!!!!!

okay it first started with my stereo cutting on and off, sometimes the stereo works and sometimes it doesnt, and it doesnt matter if its the xm, cd player, aux. no sound comes out of the speakers

Infiniti's Solution:
infiniti ordered me a new cd player because they believe thats the cause of the problem, it has not arrived yet, and will post updates.

Second, the leather of both front seat cushions are starting to bubble. the leather is saggy looking and looks like someone has driven the car for years, but i only have 7546 miles to be exact.

Infiniti's Solution:
ordered new seat cushions, the driver seat cushions are on national backorder, and the passenger seats aren't even listed yet.

so hopefully everything works out, i was just wondering if anyone had the same problems....

yes free of charge, they even gave me a white g35 sedan for a loaner

yeah if your seats are starting to get worn in easily and create that bubble effect, they will replace them no charge.

The leather does seem a bit delecate, in other words not very durable.

Thumbs down

The price to pay for that sexy shiny Japanese leather I suppose. My seats are still good but I also am very meticulous in taking care of them and have used cleaner/protector with them. Also I never sit with anything in my back pocket. I am dissapointed at a lot of the interior materials in the car. Honestly I feel like Nissan made it where it looks great on paper - but in actuality the components (leather, plastics, etc.) seem shoddy.

Sad thing is it will prob all be fixed in 09 or 10....

I have the same problem with my driver's seat. I haven't had the chance to go and take care of it though. From what I understand, they are aware of the problem, and it's the same problem that was existent on the FX line... we'll see what the stealership says when I take it in...

I've got the driver "seat bubble" too...posted about it in some other thread...

Apparently widespread or somewhat so according to the rest of the posts here...

Don't have pics...(at work now)...but will take some later...

Don't drive with anything in my pocket and only have 3K on it now...probably been evident since about 1500 miles or less...

Well, I have 2800 miles and no bubbling whatsoever. My seat does look a bit wrinkly though, especially compared to the passenger seat. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I kinda wish I had BMW leather...at least as far as durability...my friend's 330 looks pretty good for the amount of abusive it's taken.

i already got my seat taken out by the dealer and sent to an upholstery shop where they replaced the soft foam underneath to something stiffer (stiffer in the sense that it springs right back, but in terms of comfort it still feels the same). and now it doesnt wringke anymore. they told me that if im still not yet satisfied, they will order me a new seat, but the problem with that is the new seat will have the soft foam underneath again.
