Not in my car, the CF Slot is where that blank spot is and there is no room for that on my console. That is why I wondered if it was a Euro model, obviously not Jap since the steering is still standard. I have AT btw, maybe it only like that on Manuals..

There is nothing "behind" it, it's just the bottom part of the console.

are you guessing Bbetty ? or do you know for sure? seems odd that they would mold that piece separately, looks like a single din / slot to me, however i need someone to hlep me confirm..

Agreed but I don't see anyone else throwing things up! I really doubt that that has to do with the tranny..

My original thought was it had no Nav, therfore no HD or CF Slot but the slot is clearly above where it is on mine.. I'll try and find some pics of MT w/Nav.

Also I see that Vince (the OP) is 6MT and he's the one questioning the pic so clearly its nothing to do with AT vs. MT.

I would do the pics but I am off shore and was yelled at yesterday for using 20% of the ships bandwidth. I guess I like these fourms too much.

Why would I have to guess, my car is right outside in the garage? I just went out and looked at my console. It looks like the one in your photo. It's just a protrusion, there is no slot or opening whatsoever. My car is a 6MT.
