hmm...I guess you are right, I remember seeing them in an old pic. Looks like the ducts are underneith the seats which you show in your pics and they say on the description on Infiniti's website.
Edit: and looking back it looks like I misunderstood homelessdrunk's post. I thought he was asking if the ducts were under the seat which I didn't think they were, instead he was stating they were under the seats.

Only 4 door Gs (Journey models only) have rear A/C vents in the center console. They're not there on base 4 doors or the 6M/T, the latter because of the relocated e-brake. As for the Coupes, there are no rear A/C vents in the console offered at all, stick or auto. The rear A/C vents under the driver and passenger front seats are there on ALL Gs, Coupes and Sedans, 6M/Ts and 5A/Ts but you need to have at least some of the air directed to the foot vents in order for them to blow air to the rear seat occupants. Hope this helps.

you pay for the S package. there is no such thing as a standard item you pay for. Standard item would be the keyless system or push start button every car no matter what the trim has those items because they are standard. An LSD that is part of a PACKAGE you pay for is not standard or else every G37 would have an LSD because it would be standard. but its not.

they are heater vents that is why they are on the floor. If the climate system heats the car it redirects air to floor, and some of it comes out of the back. If the climate system is cooling the car, they assume some cold air will stream over the seats and "fall" onto the passengers in the back.
cool air falls , hot air rises..
