ya i dont think just a radar detector should effect the system but i have the laser shifter jammers in the front grill of the car. which escort told me will effect the cruise system

my x50 has no problems on mounted on the windshield...however when i pull it off and wave it in front of my nav screen it screams bloody laser like there's no tomorrow....there was a thread on that from months ago and i believe that's what was happening to most x50 users...based on my "tests" it seemed to be something emitted by the nav screen.

that being said i think it may be the nav screen or LCD in general and not the tech pkg. I guess someone with nav and no tech that uses an x50 can verify?
