Now that you mention waxing I may know what you're talking about. On my BMW I heard that sometimes after I waxed my car. I'd sometime give it a quick water rinse after the wax and the next day I'd hear all kinds of body flex noises. Eventually it would go away by itself or if I cleaned the rubber around the door it would go away. The flex is always there but if some wax went on the rubber around the doors it makes that annoying noise.

Good luck trying to lemon your car lol...this is something I wish I would have done some more research on about the coupe before I bought mine. This is a trait (or problem for that matter) that the infiniti coupes have always had. They never fixed it in 4 years for the g35, and obviously they didn't fix it either for the g37 - though they claim it's got a 33% stiffer chassis. It's frustrating and sad, but we drive a coupe that experiences cowl shake. My S2000 (soft top roadster) didn't have a single chassis twisting issue, and hard to believe that I landed in a coupe that does.

Anyhow, the dealer considers it normal, so you're not driving a lemon. Ways to fix it? Some say the entire collection of GT Spec chassis-stiffening bars/brackets take care of the issue, combined with a strut tower bar. If I were you I would buy one at a time and see if it helps the cause.

i noticed that whenever i clutch in to shift from 1st to 2nd, it makes a ratteling noise. this doesnt happend when i shift in any gears. anyone have experience with this ? seems to happen when i clutch in fast to shift from 1st to 2nd. is it because my rpm is too high when im clutching in ?
