Directions to silence rattle while driving:

Extend right hand
Turn volume **** clockwise twice
Rattle gone

Sorry for being a smarta$$ but do you know that is what an Infiniti service advisor told me about my '05 G Sedan!! Insane!!

I never had this problem. I live in a very mountainous area. Lots of uphils and downhils.

Is it possible to have some chasis to flex and others not? Mine is an S. Supposedly with a stiffer chasis. Is yours S

ok i got my car... they told me they fixed it... and i test drove it..for 5min and noise was gone... but guess what... it is back after 30min driving...
i contact cerritos infiniti again... chief serivce manger told me they spend very long time trying to solve that problem..ETC...
And 1 min later he told me all g37 makes that sound... so it is normal...WTF?? so i asked him then what did u do to not make that sound for 5min and why did u even take the car from the beginning if that is normal...
and he said... ummm i don't belive you on that story... and told me that they did not fix it... because that is normal... nothing he said make sense..
he firs told me they took long time to solve the problem, and later telling me that is normal....
hope you guys enjoy your G... i might goin to sell my car..
mine has too much problem..(exhaust. roof noise.. transmission)
im artcenter student.. im currently on vacation but... when school start i wont have time to deal with all these problem...

That sucks to hear man. Have you tried taking it to another dealership? I don't know which ones are more reputable, but so far, Riverside Infiniti has been pretty good to me as far as service.

 

i heard riverside infini is far better than cerritos infiniti..
should i call corporate? is it true that all g37 does make that noise?
those of you live in house when you go up to your garage...you really don't hear anything from the roof?

I haven't heard this sound from my roof. Can you have someone record this sound and post it so we know exactly what noice you are talking about?

i think he is talking about the body flex.. the sun roof pop sound.. and that was a good one unv. lol

 

im so drunk...kk i want to lemon my car... and buy another G37....i love my G i clayed my G every week and waxed it ever week...but now its causing too much trouble.. like terrible said sound coming from body flex....
noise is not as bad as it was before....and that is my point... it got better...
so some thing must gone wrong to make that noise... and nosie is getting louder... as i drove my G.. can i lemon my car? over somehing this minor?

 

Wow, I've never noticed that in my car. I guess I'm lucky to not have rattles, or "fortunate" that my hearing is becoming that bad!

Seriously, I wonder if some guys are just more sensitive to rattles. You really can make yourself sick obsessing on things. I know, I used to obsess about everything on my car.

Now I'm just down to worrying about door dings, rock chips in the paint, windshield cracks, curbed rims, interior scratches, leather wrinkles.........

 

Well, it depends on what you mean by minor. You seem to feel the sound is extremely annoying and since most of us have not (or appear not to) experienced anything like that, you may have a problem. I've had my car for a few months now and have never heard any squeaking, creaking, etc from the sunroof. If I had I'd also be into the dealer.

For a 40k car you should not have to deal with any interior squeaks from normal driving imo. At least not with one this new!
