it looks like euros from Car, Evo, and even Top Gear are awaiting to see what becomes of the euro spec G37. hopefully the response it good. But I believe Infiniti's introduction would have had a bigger impact in 2003 where the G35 was destroying the 3 series...now, not so much

Nice find. One thing annoys me though and I quote:
"This is a US-spec car and Nissan’s design centre is working on improving perceived quality for cars destined for Europe, including softer, matt-finish leather, deeper pile carpets and some improved switchgear."
WTF?! It seems to me that if you have the ability to make the quality even better than it is for the euro model, then why not make it that way for everyone? I guess us Americans are too stupid and fat to appreciate the finer things like quality carpeting and more substantial leather. Thumbs down to Nissan for that....

I'm sure nissan will improve upon the G37 as the years go by as they always do on their previoius models. just look at the final 350Z and G35 model years...definately superior to their debut models in every way
btw-that article was kinda lame. even though they were supportive of the G37, who the heck test drives in the snow?? I think a good "Infiniti invades Germany" piece would have been more dramatic with test drives in the autobahn, etc. Maybe even a fun jaunt at the 'ring...that would be a fun read.

great photos...the red car looks great against the snowy backdrop....
bad conditions to test this car though...but still came through with favorable comments...imagine if they would have tested in good conditions?
