Really? I have read about it all over the place but nothing confirmed.

The AWD would explain the blank spot for a switch between the seat heaters (unless i just dont have an option that uses that switch, is there one?) but any ways i remember looking at a g35x sedan a few months ago and it had some sort of traction controll setting switch there.

Infiniti Michael got back to me. No answers to my questions (questions posted here earlier) yet.
I M will not be posting here himself anymore as he mentioned to me due to his time contraints and that it is being controlled and evaluated at a higher level now how Infiniti "... communicates with it's online enthusiast community". Cryptic, yes, but that is how everything comes out of Tenn. till it is vetted.
He did end the email with " I have forwarded your message onto the appropriate people, and I will follow up with them to ensure your email is answered."
All I can say is stay tuned peeps. When I hear something I'll pass it on.
DCG - It's been written awhile ago don't remeber where, AWD expected for the '10 model year. It all makes sense with the taller stance of the 37 over the 35. Wouldn't be suprised if that chassis is running around with some kind of body on it going through it's paces.

I can't wait that long for the AWD, this would be a bad move for Infiniti.

Tilting windows....interesting. j/k Yeah tilting mirrors would be a nice touch. Maybe mirrors with the arrows on the back like the MB ones (one of the few things I like about MB). Most likely not gonna happen though.

And Lexus is not a competitor to this car. I just sold one to get into my G. Lexus most definitely hasn't figured out the recipe...nor would I expect them to anytime soon.
There is a significant difference between engineering a sports car and adding in luxury = G37
And having a luxury car that you add sportiness to = Lexus IS
I would get out of my Lexus each day grumbling...
I get out of my G with a big smile and the satisfaction of knowing I made the right decision...this time.

All I want for '09 is the damn center console moved forward (with the auto's cup holder lid too, instead of the cheesy sliding door), and I'd be in. If that doesn't happen I'd probably buy something else. Later.

The purpose for the AWD coupe would not be for "speed" performance but for "handling" performance in adverse weather conditions. Many customers here in the midwest have passed on the coupe only because they needed AWD. These said customers have gone to the BMW's 335XI, a great vehicle as well but not exactly what they are looking for.., so I've been told. The Infiniti G37X is in my humble opinion a no brainer.
I definitely would jump all over an awd G37s especially after this Chicago winter! I only hope that they will offer it in a 6mt as opposed to the way they only offer the G35s as an auto.

Sorry completely lost track of this thread but to answer your questions yes it is in Glencoe. The G37X ( not if but when it comes out ) will more then likely be an automatic just like the G35X is. Still no news about the AWD coupe or when it will come out.
