I wouldnt be surpised by AWD by year end. After all, you got Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Lexus with AWD in the same pricing segment.

Also, like some stated, AWD doesn't seem to far fetched, especially since other brands have it in the same category, BMW, Lexus, etc. and that its already available on the G35.

its already been confirmed that the european 37 gets it so its not fetched. its a fact now....

awd would be a waste. the g is heavy and would not get off the line fast or anything..

its not about just racing and getting off the line faster. Its about making the car more stable in not great conditions. I.e. in snow and sleet which is a common thing all over europe. Its a safety factor which is why EU is getting it

The purpose for the AWD coupe would not be for "speed" performance but for "handling" performance in adverse weather conditions. Many customers here in the midwest have passed on the coupe only because they needed AWD. These said customers have gone to the BMW's 335XI, a great vehicle as well but not exactly what they are looking for.., so I've been told. The Infiniti G37X is in my humble opinion a no brainer.

oh, i didnt think about the weather..guess they do need it, weather up north is crazy..
