Dealer courtesy vehicles?

I'm looking to get my first scheduled service and my windows tinted. This is my first Infiniti and I was wondering if dealers provide courtesy vehicles for you to drive when you get your car serviced. I cant stick around the dealer all day so a courtesy vehicle to borrow would be great. I've seen some G35 sedans on the road with "Courtesy Vehicle" badged on the windows. So how does this work? Do all dealers have this service? Is it available for all types of service? Any additional charges? Thanks.

Yes, but you need to make an appointment to receive a loaner vehicle, they only have so many.

No additional charges just fill er back up with gas when your done, if you want.

All they have are G35 Sedans, some dealers have a QX but will only give those to owners of QX's who need something larger than the G Sedan.

Will they give you a loaner vehicle if you are just getting an oil change? Does there have to be a lengthy car service or of a certain price?

I just called Glendale Infiniti, for my first oil change, and the guy I spoke to said they can do the oil change as I wait. He didn't answer my question about the loaner car. He asked about a date that I could wait for the car on.

Is every dealer different?

I got a 2008 G35 Sedan today for my oil change.

I didn't fill it up, but only used 1/16th of a tank. Am I a bad person?

HAHA dude I've taken loaner vehicles on vacation!! Put 800 miles on one and 450 on the other, dropped em off with just under a 1/4 left, and next time Infiniti of C.C. won't make me come back 4 times to fix one problem they misdiagnosed and then refused to fix under warranty. 1,200 I didn't have to put on my car/tires.

I believe the deal is if they have it for 2 hours or more they will provide a loaner. Oil change does not qualify. Warranty work does.

Totally depends on the dealer. My dealer prefers for customers getting an oil change to drop the car off before going to work, they give you a loaner, and you pick up yours after work. Easy as that. Different story on the weekends I think. Check with your dealer.

Question Another question...

If you buy a car from an out-of state dealer, or even one different from your local one, do you still get the loaner car privilege?

I did with my BMW. I'm sure an Infiniti dealer will too. They want your business.

As for my only loaner experience with Infiniti so far, they dealer was out of loaners and rented me a car from Enterprise. A Kia no less! I didn't really care, but I really wanted to try out a g35 sedan.
