Warning About Turning Your VDC Off !!!
Do not take a turn at 45mph with your VDC off. I forgot to turn it back on after a takeoff at a intersection and made a right turn going 45mph and the back end went all the way out. I tried to control the car swerving back and forth finally jumping over the center divider. I was scared for my life and the life of my brand new G.
Damages: For what I can see for right now before taking it to Fix Auto.
-the front bumper needs to be replace
-both the side skirts
-both of the passengers side rims and tires
-minor details underneath the car
I will update with pictures and final price of repair. Just thought I warn and share with all of you my mistake and sorrow.

WoW. I am sorry to hear man Im glad you did not hit another vehicle be safe man...Theres a VDC off symbol on our dash right?
Why do people turn VDC off for launches anyway does it really affect it that much? If anything don't you just get more wheel hop? Does more power funnel to your wheels with it off? What's the story behind Traction Control and VDC?

Well physically maybe "drifting" on a RWD drive car you can call losing control "drifting" but that's not an accurate description as obviously he didn't intend for his car to react that way as it did without VSC.
BTW G-Wiz are can your insurance fix whatever is past your deductible? Im sure - but ur premiums may go up and those wheels and tires are gonna cost an arm and a leg - are the wheels just scratched or bent??? Scratches U could consider trying to buff...Though that kinda sucks to...I wouldnt be able to sleep at night....G luck bro.

I can remember turning my VDC off only once in over 4 years. I also can't count how many people I have read over on G35Driver that had to find out the hard way when turning it off.
OP, sorry to hear about the incident and glad you weren't hurt. Good luck with the repairs.

That really sucks... I cant help but say i cant wait to see the pictures though... Was it drivable after? Because if you "jumped" the center divider i would guess there is going to be suspension damage..
