African Rosewood

Anyone have or figured out how to get the African Rosewood Trim with the sport package? Looks like when the sport package is ordered, it negates the African Rosewood Trim.

You cannot get the Rosewood with the Sports package!

lol, Aftermarket African Rosewood....sounds oxymoronic to begin with....luxurious things like that need to be authentic, OEM, made with quality, and so forth....me personally i think the african rosewood takes away from the racing spirit of the car and makes it look & feel more like an old man's coupe like the Lexus SC430 type...

At first I was considering the rosewood....I ultimately chose not to get it even though I did not get the sport package and I am glad I didn't. As stated earlier the metal finish grows on you and has a more sporty feel....but it certainly is a personal choice....

Ya, I hear Infiniti gives you a case of Old Spice when you order a G with the Rosewood.

I actually like the rosewood as it gives a more warm feeling. I find the silver finish a bit cold..too bad there isn't an option for the interior trim for 6MT.

If there's carbon fibre in aftermarket, I may go for that.

You should be able to order all the trims in rosewood from Infiniti.. Right? Heck, you could probably find someone on here who wants the aluminum interior and would trade you for their rosewood. Personally, the wood trim does not "fit" in this model, maybe the sedan but I think its best with the M or QX.

Well IMO the African Rosewood is more refined and polished but gives it the Lexus SC flavour. Kind of like that Rich white doctor sports coupe. Not to generalize. Im not knockin' it though Wood is tight, old is gold, but personally I just like the aluminum Washi for the sporty feel...
