I'm living in LA and with this being my only car at the moment, its so easy putting more than 1,000 miles per month. So far, I have 9,000 miles in just 5 months.

Not for me yet. I still have 8/32 of rubber left all around. But you have to consider I drive mostly highway miles and don't drive like a teenager either. I'll easily get 20K+ on the original rubber.
