UPDATE:
just spoke with infiniti corp. and they said....and i quote... "WTF?" soo...
they will arrange for my car to be picked up in a flatbed and taken to a specialized inifinti dealership that deals with high volume recalls and specialized cases foreign to common warranty issues. Infiniti corp is speaking with my dealer as we speak so as soon as i get a call from them and the verdict on whats going to happen i'll let you guys know.
should i ask for them to throw in a credit to my months payment on the car if they have it for more than a week?

I would ask for more than a month's payment... I would ensure that they check every seatbelt in the vehicle to ensure things are ok and they won't come apart in the event of a hard stop or collision, which would obviously result in an injury to you or an occupant. Additionally, I would ensure that they note in your service file that if any defect occurs due to them disassemling the various interior panels to check the seatbelts and perform repairs that this will be guaranteed until 100k miles and/or get an Infiniti extended warranty.

Would this require a collision test on d_zine07's car?

The pics don't look like the seatbelt is actually not attached anymore, it is just the guide rail thing that puts it in a more comfortable position. The belt is still attached to the side of the car where it rolls up and all the action takes place in an accident right? If so you still have a seatbelt. It definitely should be fixed, but I bet Infiniti is thinking the belt has fallen off the frame and is sitting in the front seat.

there should be no nut in the pillar. I have installed harnesses in all my cars and none had a nut on the end of the belt bolt. They just screw in.that is what the little metal bar at the bottom is for. to keep the assembly in place but things can still spin. if your not tech savy then yes of course take it to a dealer although in your case they are already taking care of it for you. but it really is a simple fix....
