Well I was able to locate and fix my squeak. Embarassing to say, it was my fault and not the car. I had 3 VHS cassette tapes on the rear seat behind me and the reels juggling around were the cause of the squeaks. DOH!

I knew someone would ask that! They're for work. Part of my job involves training and a few videos we have only on VHS because they are old and no longer produced. Nobody has gotten around to transferring them to DVD.

Without a right seat passenger I get a rattle from the free hanging male seatbelt fastener. Any quick fix?

^ Make sure the seatbelt extender is sticking out (and not straight down) -- it'll help it from rattling around...

Not exactly an interior rattle, but does everyone else's G make alot of heat-expansion noise after shutting down the car? sounds kind of like rustling tin foil... i know this is 'normal' for cars to do, but it just seems alot louder and more prominant than my previous cars...

When I went in for my first service, the service rep asked if I had an exhaust rattle. I don't but there should be a TSB coming out on this issue.

2000 miles. One persistent rattle in the driver-side door on somewhat bumpy road. Near the front, in the area of the tweeter speaker. This is bad enough to risk letting the dealer open the door panel. I plan to have the dealer look at it during the first oil change next week.

Also seems to be something in the passenger seat when someone is in it on a fairly bumpy road. I do also have the sunglass rattle with one pair of glasses. The other pair doesn't rattle much.

I did notice that ride is much stiffer than my Accord (no surprise , so anything the car will rattle on bumps. Grocery bags seem particularly noisy .

Inifiniti somehow left a loose nut inside the trunk lid. (Between the outer and inner skin of the trunk lid) everytime I lift the trunk lid up the damn thing rolls around. I am hoping that at some point it will get snagged up somewhere and will stop rattling. I really don't want the dealer to open up the trunk lid. I will see for how long I can stand this.

There is a noise on the drivers side near the defroster vents near the windshield. It's driving me nuts, as it only happens on a certain road at a certain speed. I think it is the sunlight sensor as this was a big problem on my 350z as well and thats what it turned out to be. Sounds the same.

As far as the passenger side seatbelt, I wrap a shoulder pad thingy ( black suede ) around it when no one else is in the car.

I am beginning to feel some disappointment in infiniti for all the strange noises and problems I am having. I really really want to be satisfied, I really do but... It's just not what I expected from a luxury vehicle.
