G37 Ad

I first saw that add in Atlanta, GA by the Georgia Tech. It's a pretty cool sign.
^^I also saw the one in times square on a NY visit two weeks ago. I am currently in Ft Lauderdale FL, and I still do not see any G37s. Plenty of 07 Sedans and coupes (modded at that).

lol...i think we got your point the last few times you posted. you hate the looks of the G37
the ad was a little strange when i first saw it...i took it as...."the GT-R is comming...so just to keep you satisfied at the moment....here is a 'skyline'"

Sorry. I'm just really sad that Infiniti didn't listen to their customer base. They did a lot of the right things for this car and the improvements are amazing. I've seen pics (haven't seen one in person yet, they dont' sell many in Afghanistan) that make the car look pretty hot. They just need another Ad to show off it's good side. lol

I had a problem with the front end too until I saw it in person. What I don't like is the grille. The way the fenders rise up around the headlights looks great. It is much more muscular than a G35c.
The problem I have with the grille (remember, this is solely my opinion) is that it is wider at the top than the bottom and that just the top and bottom bars are chrome. I would have preferred either a more rectangular grille like the G35c, or one where the bottom is wider than the top.
Shape aside, the grille should be the color of the inset bars with just the Infiniti symbol chromed. I'm sure some guys are working on that now.
I actually played around with some black electrical tape the other day, and things didn't look half bad. Once I figure out what I want to do, I'll probably paint the thing. I've got an air brush and a source for pre-mixed, auto lacquer, so it will be easy.
I'll keep you guys posted.
