another G37 without a keyhole - pictures

Part # 82646-JL05A, $27.23 from my dealer

as it comes:
you have to remove the painted piece, i used a small flathead in the area circled in red


the two pieces seperated


used a microfiber to hold the handle open


same place as before, small flathead in the circled area to pry the painted piece off. once off the clip, it slides off to the right


removed. the new piece slides on the two tabs circled, then give a good push onto the car until it clicks


new piece on

Purely for looks. The keyhole is normally not even used since we use an intelligent key. The keys stay in your purse and you have to put your hand on the handle to open it anyways, so you may as well push the button.

yup. part number will vary slightly for different colors

G37's come with key holes?? im confused.

mine just6 has the rubber tap

no seriously tho' -they come with key holes?

yes, on the driver's side.

pretty much the only thing i would find it useful for is a quick way to roll your windows up (stick the key in and hold it in the lock position a few seconds.. windows go up)

but, i doubt i'd ever use that feature. so goodbye keyhole
