Gas door

Any one else not like that you have to push on the gas door to get it to oper? I hate this why don't we have a gas tank lid button? I have a black G37 and I think i'l be putting 3M film over it. My car is a daily driver and while i know it will get some scratches and swirles I just think Infiniti could do better. I ove the car though don;t get me wrong just seems like an oversight.

G35 is the same. I agree with you, I wish the door would pop open.

And how are you going to close it? You have to touch it anyways...if that's your problem.

I had a G35 for 4 years and never thought about it being a problem. In fact, after living with it that way, I like it. Interior releases can be a pain IMHO.

On my Maxima i could flick it closed from the tap on the inside that holds the gas cap so there is no need to touch the door.

The only problem is when the actuator shoots craps and you can't get the door open.

Who cares if you have to push to open it, if once you're done you're going to have to push it in order to close it anyways?
