g37s 6MT disappointing "off the line.'

I am very happy with the G37 and I got out of a 350Z. It gets me where I am going just about as fast as I want to get there.
The mid range speed is great I even have to check my speed on the freeway to make sure I am not crusing at 90.
It all comes down to one thing, are you happy with your car? If so then it really doesnt matter what someone else thinks.

I get your point boys.
You don't want me to make observations about the car.
Thus, I will not further contribute to this thread any longer.
As to the doubters posting above, I have sent you a PM so that we do not argue this issue in this forum.

i see no problem with you making observations on the car...the last thing i want to see is for this forum to turn in to a certain bmw forum (will not specify which, you know what it is when you log on there) where they think the bimmer is GOD. if you're parading around on supercars and think the G37 is slow then yeah...to you it might be slow. if you parade around in a 99' civic dx with 106hp....then yes, expect to get flamed...lol.

Agreed on this point, but that has nothing to do with it learning conservative driving traits. This was the only part of your post that I was saying was only applicable to automatics. There is no learning that you can influence in a manual car.
