anotha,
I have seen these cameras on some of the minivans around here, but the first I remember seeing on a coupe. This is a vast improvement over the Fairlady Z that I had. It had a motorized pole that you could raise from the front left bumper to give you an idea of where the corners were, so this is a vast improvement. And yes we also get the back up camera. My wife has this on her Nissan Lafesta and I love the feature. Looking forward to having it on my new ride too.

Took some snapshots off nissan.co.jp ...
The side-parking camera mentioned earlier on. As well, it looks like auto-adjusting mirrors on reverse is an option ??
What appears to be an optional exhaust, and a differently styled 18" rim.
Alot of other stuff too.. what appeared to be an indash DVD player, a few shots of the ambient lighting (photos showed footwell only), etc.

Comatose-san,
Thanks for posting the photos, wish I knew how to do it.
The exhaust is a dealer option and is made by Fujitsubo. I have
the same basic system on my 350GT, and it is nice to have it on the car from the start.
The wheels are Rays Forged wheels and are 18 inchers. Apparently these are an option for the Standard and P Type cars.
The mirrors are an $800 option, and appear to be for any model.
There is also an option for a digital TV tuner. But don't really understand why anyone would want this since you can only watch it on the navi screen while in neutral with the parking brake on.

That mirror camera is awesome! I'd have much preferred to spend $800 on the camera vs. the $1,000 for the tech package.
I had no choice unless I wanted to wait longer for a car, but I have no real use for the swivelling headlights or the adaptive cruise control. The car actually brakes fairly harsh when slowing down.
Oh well. Life is still very good with my G.

That camera in the sideview would be SOOO niiice!
Hate that curb rash on these low profiles.

Time to order JDM mirrors and intergrate with our cars, anyone? Wonder how / if we could get it to intergrate... and when or how you activate that camera.

Regarding the speed limiter, not sure if its a Japanese law, or just an agreement among the JDMs but all domestic cars are limited to 190km/h (about 115mph). So even if I were to go and by the new GTR, I would have 480hp that would get me to 190km/h really quickly, but not past it. Had this experience with my 350GT and once I couldn't catch a Benz E class because of the limiter I went out the next day and ordered an Impul computer to do away with the limiter.
Juan G35-san, I will be checking about the navi system to see if it has a language setting for another member and will let you know. Regarding the buttons everything will probably be in Japanese, but just study pictures of the english buttons and then amaze your friends with your ability to decipher the Japanese characters.

Not sure exactly which safety feature you are referring to, but on most systems here you can not 'play' with them while the car is in motion. I will find out about the new system but am sure that they don't want people concentrating on the navi screen instead of the road.

well thats a load of ballucks. 115?! what the sheit?! yeah i def will have to get that crap taken off.
as for the bottons, i'll just have to "ADM" that console. lol get some infiniti parts in there.
oh hey is the navi disk, like the 1st gen navi? reason cause when i move back to the states i'm gonna need to have US navi.
i have navu in my g, and there is a language setting. so i'm gonna really really really assume that the 370GT has a language setting for english
