No G37's on the Road?

It's not jealousy as some are claiming. It's not what I expected. I mean, when I 1st saw the concept I was ready to trade-in my G35. But when I saw the pics and seen the car in person. I decided to keep the G35.
And not seeing plenty of G37 on the road tells you one thing. There isn't any "wow" factor as the G35 had when I 1st came out.
But hey, you guys are happy with the car so who cares.

no, i'm sure you're not jealous. i guess it's preference. i thought the G35 was a **** poor attempt at a 2+2 350Z. the engine was always weaker than it's nissan brother and it's fat *** couldn't even get into the 13s. plus the fact that everyone and their grandmother had one...ughhhh. who wants to have a car that everyone has? thank god at least the new G finally has an engine exclusive to itself and can run 13s no problem.

I saw my first, and only, G37 on the road, in downtown Sacramento earlier this week. As I waited at a crosswalk for the light to change, the car (silver) went past me, a few feet away. I did not recognize it until I saw the G37S badge on its rear.
I'd been over to Fairfield Infiniti two weeks ago as I was coming home from Santa Cruz. That was before I knew about this forum and Hussain's deals. I wanted to assure myself that my 6'2'' frame would fit with the moonroof installed. I did, by an inch. (I'm not sure how guys who are 6'3" fit, but they say they do.)
Now, I want to see an AB on the road. I want that color, but I haven't seen it rolling. I'll wait 13 months for mine. Insane? No, I'm retiring then and don't want to put 15k miles of heavy commute on the G.
It's interesting reading this thread. I'd earlier planned on the 300C (wife originally insisted on four doors for our next car, but then decided that our four-door truck would suffice and freed me to look at coupes), but now am set on getting the G37 6MT. Anyway, my wife was turned off by how many 300s she sees everywhere. She wanted a car a little less common. Who knows how many will be on the road when the '09 models are out. Mine will be one of them.

yeah, i already said that the G37 does have a better interior and better motor. but the transition from concept to production was a disappointment.

Just saw my second G37 (away from the dealer), a beautiful red Journey with the Sport package. It was parked at my racquetball/health club. The dealer registration was still in the window, although the car had its rear plate (and no holes drilled for the front plate) and probably the lessor could remove the temp papers. Which to get, Red or Athens Blue?? On the way home I saw a new Z in a similar blue and still think I prefer the AB. What the hell, I've got a year to make up my mind and who knows what colors Infiniti will offer in '09.

I finally saw a G37. It was parked rite outside Infinti of Manhattan. Probably their display vehicle. I had no idea the Infiniti dealership was there. All you notice are the Lexus, BMW and Nissan dealership. They need to advertise themselves more.
Anyway I could not stop so I passed back later but they were closed and it was behind the window. It looks good in person but I need to see better angles because it was partially blocked.

I saw a IP G37 parked in Norco, CA (near Riverside) a couple weeks ago at some ghetto oil change place (and I damn well hope he wasn't getting his oil changed there).
Other than that, I haven't seen one on the road yet.
