Tech Package... experiences?
For those guys with the tech packages. You think the features are a vast difference from the norm? I previously excluded this becuase it wasn't necessary, but on those mountain roads late at night... I dunno adaptive lighting to go into the turn might be cool :P

It wasn't on my list of packages I would have ordered, but it came with the car. Having lived with it for two weeks now, I have to say that the adaptive cruise control is pretty amazing.
I was thinking about the headlights this morning though. I don't do any mountain driving. Most of my turns at night are either so broad (interstate or other roads) or so slow (intersections) that I really can't appreciate it.
Overall, I say it's worth it.

I fooled around with how responsive the AFS was and did a few quick swerves with the wheel and I must say that was pretty fast response on those lights. Have already used the ICC many times and would rather not pass that up in futures cars since it is one of the best options on cruising I have seen. It just makes like easier and more fun on the long trips.

I personally don't think its worth it. everything is cool and it sounds great when you tells friends what it is. But After driving around with it for two weeks I could have done without it.

The adaptive cruise control is awesome. It works really well, and when you see someone fly past you with a radar detector on there windshield its fun to turn on and watch all the pretty lights flash in there car. Ha Ha

Arm flailing tube man
It keeps you at a preset distance from vehicles in front of you. Say if you set your car at 75 MPH and the car in front is going slower, it slows down automatically until you pass it, than it speeds back up to 75.

I had a Calibre (K40) radar/laser detector/diffuser dealer installed. They seemed pretty confident that the ICC would not interfere with the laser detector diffuser system. The front detector is mounted in the grill Did you hear otherwise?
