Gas tank on wrong side?
#6
The passenger side IS the correct side.
The reason for this is so that when the driver gets out of the car to fill up, he will slam his door into the car next to him rather than into the pump.
It's a gov't safety measure which has been recently implemented, and all car companies must comply by 2012.

Lol
I always liked the gas pump on that side. Everytime I went to the NEX to get gas on a military base. I rarley had to wait because my pump was on the other side. It was pretty nice. But if it is true and all gas tanks are being relocated that is going to suck for me lol.

We have a winner!!!
And, to the original poster, as long as the gas tank is on the INSIDE of the car, and not the OUTSIDE, as far as I am concerned, the gas tank is on the correct side.
