My Infiniti District Area Rep made it a point to let everyone know at the dealership that the rear spoiler is a factory only option. If you want it, you must order it with your car. I asked him if later this might change and he told me that it was a possibility. Most dealership service departments will probably find a way to install it after.
plus an available rear spoiler gives the G37 Coupe zero rear lift, matching the standard zero-lift front aerodynamics. Definately another benifit to having the spoiler.

Especially at the speed you'd need to be travelling to experience rear lift! The two numbers I have heard were 95mph and 120mph. In either event, for a street car, daily driver, I'll take my chances on when I might experience rear lift in my G37.
