Dealer found me a car, but...

At first they said it would have to be driven 230 miles to their dealership, now they are offering to flatbed it in lieu of a discount off MSRP.
Now if we can only agree on my trade...

If it's only 250 miles away, why don't you go after it I'm sure the drive back will be great

Wow, sounds like a dilemma.
How much off the MSRP are they offering anyways?

Sounds like a car dealer's wet dream--buyers that are willing to set aside all of the normal minimal requirements when buying a car--like some sort of discount or no (or very low) miles. Did you think that if you passed entirely on this "deal" that you would never find another car again?

That is a tough choice, might just want to go and pick it up yourself.

Their price is MSRP, not discounting at all.
I suggested a discount based on the fact that IF I wanted it, it would be driven to them, they countered with the truck offer.

What is the cost of the flatbed? Will they let you drive it to their dealership?

Oh - so they never actually agreed to any discount...you only sugessted it.....correct?

I say get someone to drive you there, and have fun driving it back.
(Unless you are doing a trade-in, which solves the problem right there)

I think you should be willing to pay them above MSRP for being so kind as to break the car in for you--as a matter of fact, you should insist on paying them extra

If you don't have the time to go pick it up, just let them flatbed it to you.

They did not offer a discount, I asked how much of a discount should I expect to purchase this car, that had to be driven 220 miles from another dealer.
They offered to flatbed the car instead of giving a discount, which is not a discount as far as I'm concerned.
