Mine was black, and I'll never buy a black car again. I believe that I'm too much of a perfectionist to own a black car. BTW my '05 looked perfect from 5 feet and beyond.
Seriously, though, I had no problems with the paint on my '05 G35 (black). Was it perhaps limited to certain colors? What color was you '05?
