just to be clear.. i pulled into the inspection bay, opened the trunk, slapped duck tape over the plate, stuck it on the grill..... laughed.. waited for the inspection to be done.. then quickly took it off. In no way did i (or would i recommend to anyone) drive around with that jerry-rig on the front of my ride! I've never had a front plate on any of my cars since living in Boston. My wrangler had a dive flag plate on the front and that's about it. Never been pulled over for it.. knock on wood!

LMAO... i was thinking to do somthing like that as well if i needed to temporaily... but with zip ties or wire... lol, nice

bostonmarlin: you are the master indeed.

I rememeber when I got my obd2 car smogged with an obd1 ECU in it. What you did is on the same level, if not better!
